I don't know what I can save you from

I used to go to the same Smoothie King almost every day for lunch. But more recently I've been doing other things, so yesterday I went by there and they've gone...closed...out of business or whatever.

I felt bad.

But did my $5 per day keep the lights on? As I look back all the signs were there, the inventory levels on the decline, the increasing look of despair on the owner's face etc.

It was run by a family of five, and they were all very nice. I hope they went on to bigger and better things. Funny thing franchises, that same operation in more posh parts of town is a cash cow.
